Becoming a leader is an ongoing process. |

Human behavior embodies the predictable and
the mysterious. |

Knowledge is a compass, not an anchor. |

MISSION
As an organizational consultant and
executive coach, specializing in leadership development, I am dedicated
to helping clients create productive, fulfilling roles and workplace
experiences. And as scholar-practitioner, I am committed to deepening
our understanding of organizational sustainability by researching
leadership behaviors that foster healthy workplaces.
I explore organizational life from a
stance of appreciative investigation. Both the theoretical and practical
workings of organizations inform and enrich my inquiry.
I encourage clients to discover ~
patterns of behavior that no longer serve them, and
new practices
and capabilities needed to meet the demands of their evolving roles
and organizations.
GUIDING BELIEFS
I base my work on the core belief that positive leadership relationships:
- nurture critical thinking,
- expand moral reasoning,
- enhance participative competence, and
- promote resilience.
We
create healthy organizations through focused intention. As
organizational members in a global society we are compelled to embrace
diverse perspectives, honor the many ways of knowing, and open the space
for meaningful dialogue to emerge. Such demanding work requires us to
examine our worldviews and assumptions and to recognize how our behavior
and perceptions shape our workplace communities.
